The production method of butyl rubber is introduced

Slurry method: slurry method is prepared by cationic polymerization of isobutene and a small amount of isoprene at low temperature (-100℃ or so) using chloromethane as diluent and H2O-AlCL3 as initiating system.

Solution method: the traditional slurry synthesis butyl rubber production technology is mature, but due to the low polymerization temperature, large refrigeration equipment, continuous operation cycle of polymerization kettle short, high energy consumption (1kg glue energy consumption about 35 ~ 55MJ).In order to increase the reaction temperature, a lot of studies have been done on the synthesis of butyl rubber by solution method.
